Sparks Flying! ZDHS’s First "Welding Emperor" Vocational Skills Competition Concludes Successfully

On December 23-24, the first "Welding Emperor" Vocational Skills Competition of Zhongding Hengsheng was grandly held. The contest featured three categories of tests: CO₂ welding, argon arc manual welding, and argon-electric combined welding. A total of 46 welders from the Production Center participated in the competition.
To ensure the high-quality execution of the event, the Production Center invited Duan Bangjun from the Quality Department and Yang Xuandong from the Technical Center to serve as judges. A pre-competition work deployment meeting was held to clarify the processes, guidance, safety measures, and responsibilities for each segment, ensuring the smooth progress of the competition.
The competition site was filled with flashing arcs and flying sparks, creating an intense and exhilarating atmosphere. The contestants, equipped with professional protective gear and welding torches, devoted their full attention to the tasks. They meticulously fixed workpieces, carefully marked lines, skillfully assembled parts, and focused on welding. Every arc jump reflected their precise control over temperature and timing, showcasing their relentless pursuit of perfection in welding craftsmanship. The participants fully demonstrated their skills, learning from and inspiring each other to improve collectively.
The judging panel closely observed the contestants' operations, evaluating each work based on the refinement of the weld appearance and the reliability of internal quality, and scored them accordingly.
After fierce competition and fair evaluation, the contest awarded first, second, and third prizes across all categories, recognizing a total of 16 outstanding welders.
At the awards ceremony, General Manager Yuan Huaijin, Deputy General Manager Ren Jiwei, and Acting General Manager of the Production Center Hong Wei presented the awards and certificates of honor to the winners, commending their remarkable performance and superb skills.
