Recently, a CNPC-affiliated natural gas processing plant commenced smooth operations, marking the official launch of China’s first all-chain, multi-condition cryogenic natural gas processing facility. This world-class deep-processing base—boasting the "longest technical route, most complex processes, most comprehensive functions, and widest product variety"—not only fills a technological gap in China’s high-value natural gas utilization but also strengthens the industrial foundation of the country’s clean energy strategy.
In this landmark project, hailed as the "pinnacle of natural gas processing," Zhongding Hengsheng Gas Equipment (Wuhu) Co., Ltd. provided robust technical support for its core processes. A total of 14 diaphragm compressors were successfully deployed across the full production chain—including crude helium, recycle gas, mixed gas, high-purity helium, and waste helium—enabling safe pressurization and efficient transportation from primary gas treatment to high-purity extraction.
As a national-level energy megaproject, the plant demanded exceptional equipment performance: handling complex media, variable pressures, harsh operating conditions, and uninterrupted stability. Leveraging its expertise in high-purity, high-pressure gas compression and customized solutions, Zhongding Hengsheng delivered a multi-model, multi-condition diaphragm compressor system, ensuring long-term reliability, adaptability to challenging gas sources, and seamless integration.
